Nepal is a country which brings to you a rich assortment of traditions and culture. With Mount Annapurna and Everest standing in the Himalayan range, Nepal has to offer what adventure lovers would call the dream destination for any trekker. Being full of mountains and hills, trekkers have a plethora of options during Annapurna basecamp trekking. Being offered only by Nepal tourism and the Trekking Agents Association of Nepal (TAAN), it is a mandatory requirement for any trekkers thinking about trekking in Nepal. While trekking in the restricted areas like Humla, Makalu Barun, Kanchanjunga, Mustang and Dolpo, trekkers require special permit to organize the trekking agents during their Everest Basecamp trekking. Other than that, trekkers should be equipped with all the required trekking gears that will be important in the trip. There are different kinds of backpacks available for trekkers in the trekking hub of Thamel. Trekkers can either select camping or having Tea house during Annapurna basecamp trekking. While the former one is quite reasonable option of trekking where trekkers don’t have to be concerned about food and lodging as they are offered these things by the local Tea House stations, the latter is the timeless and graceful way of trekking in Nepal. Trekkers should be aware of the time when they want to go for Everest Basecamp trekking. The ideal months of trekking are September-November and March-June as during these months the weather is generally fine and comes with green grounds and clear blue skies.
